A former Ag-Au-Zn-Pb-Cu-Pyrite occurrence/mine located in the NE¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 31, T23N, R17W, G&SRM, 1.3 km (0.8 mile) W of Stockton Hill (coordinates of record) and 7 miles SE of Chloride, on private land within a Bureau of Land Management administered area. Owned by Al Jagerson, Arizona (1948). Unknown involvement by Minnie Smith (1953). Operated 1901 to 1948. The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in granite. The ore body strikes N35W and dips 70NE. The mineralization is associated with a Late Cretaceous porphyry intrusion. Associated rocks include Neoproterozoic granite. Local rocks include Early Proterozoic granitic rocks.
Regional geologic features include Precambrian schistosity that strikes N30ºE. Veins, fissures and dikes strike NW to NNW regionally.
Workings include unspecified underground openings.
