Hydrothermal lead-zinc deposit, hosted in limestone, sandstone, and shale of the Devonian Wuzhishan formation that are locally intruded by granites and some lamprophyre dykes. The deposit straddles the border between Gongcheng and Yangshuo counties and is jointly worked by the Daoping and Yangshuo mines which are connected underground.

NOTE: Tangping is a mis-nomer.
