Geology: The ore bodies lie in breccia zones parallel to subparallel to the bedding. Bedding strikes northward, and dips between N10E in the east to N10W in the west due to the broad anticline. Hydrozincite is at least as abundant as calamine. Descloisite (a vanadate) occurs locally, As does cinnabar. The latter forms thin coats on galena in places.
