Structure: Low Angle Faults; Thrust Fault; NNW-Trending Folds
Alteration: Silication
Deposit: Workings occur along a brecciated zone bedding in bleached, recrystalized dolomite. Lamprophyre dikes cut the section, causing silication near their contact zones. The bedding-controlled mineralization exposed in the upper stope shows crusts and fillings of mno and cu oxides which also fill around and between blocks of delomite. Dolomite blocks are recrystallized;wollastonite occurs As rims on the block, and the oxide minerals intermix with the and coat the wollastonite. Minerals noted are Mn oxides, morphite, aurichalcite, malachite, calcite, wollastonite, ceragyrite?argentite? contact zone along edge of lone mountain pluton is 0.5 mile wide.
Deposit type: Polymetallic replacement
Development: Inactive at time of examination in 1983
Rock formation(s): Lone Mountain Pluton
Ore(s): Bedding Plane Faults;Contact Of Dikes,Plutons;Brecciated Zone;Intersection Of NE-Trending Shears And A Lower Magnitude NW-Trending Fault System.
