A former underground Au-Pb-V-Ag mine/prospects located in the SE¼SE¼SE¼ sec. 27, T23S, R15E, seemingly on the same vein as the Big Lead Mine but farther west, on National Forest land. Owned and operated by Mr. Howard Pittenger (1940).
Workings include a 160 foot tunnel and other openings totaling some 500 feet of work.
