A W-Au-Hg-Ag mine located in the S½SW¼ sec. 5, T38N, R42E, MDM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) NE of Adam Peak and 2.7 km (8,900 feet) SSW of the Getchell Mine proper (located claim - mineral rights only). Discovered in 1938. Owned & operated by Getchell Mine Inc. Owned & operated by Firstmiss Gold Inc. (100.00%), Nevada (1995). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 5,000 meters. First prospected for Ag; briefly mined during the summer of 1955 for W ore.

Mineralization is a Pliocene W deposit (Mineral occurrence model information: Model code 42; USGS model code 14a; Deposit model name W skarn), hosted in diorite. Scheelite occurs in erregularly-shaped bodies and lenses and veins of coarse, glassy quartz cutting granodiorite. Local alteration includes altered granodiorite; sericitic, pyritic. Local rocks include granitic rocks and alluvial deposits.

Workings include surface openings comprised of an open pit.
