The shaft was in the corner of the field where the rough lane from Craddock Moor turns sharply right (southward). A long finger dump of materials now borders the lane. This produces dark purple fluorite often in a soft granite matrix and sometimes with chlorite. Occasional pieces may be cuprite or chalcocite(?) often with associated secondaries such as malachite.
