An U-Pb-Cu deposit and surface and underground prospect located in sec. 30, T6N, R14E, about ¾ mile SE of the Rose Creek Lodge, on the South side of Workman Creek. Owned by Pat Morgan & others (discoverers).
Mineralization is a deposit in nearly flat-lying, dark-gray strata of the upper member of the Dripping Spring Quartzite-Upper Member, about 50 to 75 feet above a diabase sill. The main vertically tabular orebody is about 150 feet long in a N20E direction. The ore zone is 152.4 meters long and 1.52 meters wide overall. Rocks on both sides of a strong limonite-filled fracture, 1 to 6 inches thick, are uraniferous over a width of about 5 feet.
Workings include a wide bulldozed bench, an open cut and 2 short adits.
