Nodules and lenses (up to 500 kilograms) in micaschists.
The nodules show a core of andalusite (pink crystals up to 5X2 centimeters) and kyanite (crystals from 1 to 5 centimeters long) and an outer zone with ilmenite (blades up to 2 centimeters long), muscovite and staurolite (small red translucent crystals) ; toumaline (dark green crystals) is associated with muscovite or andalusite.
Staurolite also forms big (up to 8 centimeters) twinned brown crystals isolated in micaschists.
