The most southern and contiguous at the built-up area of Rio Marina. The main orebody is hematite, with limonite and pyrite; probably exploitation began with the Etruscans.
In recent times it was used for ore deposit and refinement systems.
In the 19th century, the best specimens of hematite were found here. Today it is still possible to find good specimens.
