A large rare-element REE gadolinite type granite pegmatite located about 200 m N of the Vestre Frigstad Farm.
The quarry is open for collectors for a fee. One day tickets could be bought at the Beryllen Mineralshop (in Kile), the Kilefjorden camping, the Setesdalen Information center in Evje and at the nearby farm Rogdevollen. The fee was NOK 50,- p.p./NOK 100,- families in 2002. A leaflet with information and a map are found at the places selling the tickets (NB: information pre-2018, the Beryllen Mineralshop is now closed).

A gadolinite-(Y) crystal weighing about 500kg has been reported from this pegmatite. Bjørlykke (1935) reports that more than 2 tons of gadolinite-(Y) and several hundred kgs of aeschynite-(Y) has been produced from this locality.
An analysis of aeschynite-(Y) (priorite) is published by Schetelig (1922) from Vestre Frigstad. This reference is most probably referring to Slobrekka.
