Structure: Nacimiento Fault Nacimiento Fault
Tectonics: Nacimiento Uplift
Deposit: The deposit lies chiefly in a zone or band of schist about 35 feet wide contained in the granite.the copper occurs in moderate amounts in the schist, and seems to attain its best development near the contact of the schist with the granite. The jointing in the granite dips about 80 NE and the tunnel workings follow a two-foot diabase dike which conforms to the southeasterly trend of the jointing. The dike carries traces of pyrite and chalcopyrite, but does not seem to have any connection with the deposits in the schists.
Development: There is no record of ownership for this prospect. Lindgren (1910, p. 149-150) states there was activity at the prospect but does not say who was working it.
Geology: The precambrian in this area has not been given a formal name.
