A former surface and underground U-Cu mine located on 15 claims in the SE¼ sec. 13, T5N, R14E, on the SW side of the canyon of Deep Creek, in the McFadden quadrangle, on National Forest (wilderness) land. Owned by the Miami Copper Co.
Mineralization is the Donna Lee deposit. The flat-lying Dripping Spring Quartzite is overlain by remnants of the lower part of the Mescal Limestone. The deposits are in strongly weathered & oxidized gray siltstone and very fine-grained sandstone in the upper member of the Dripping Spring. An associated rock unit is diabase.
Workings include 2 adits at 90 and 85 feet long, respectively, and reached a depth of 27.43 meters. No production record.
