A former small surface and underground Pb-Ag-Cu-Zn mine located in the SE¼ sec. 8, T17S, R23E, approximately 3.5 miles NE of Knob Hill, on private land. Produced 1914-1937. Operated by Cecil Connelly, William Tower.
Mineralization is a replacement deposit with a bedded ore body containing oxidized lead and zinc mineralization hosted in Limestone.
Local structures include closely folded rocks, thrusts, deep reverse faults with superimposed oligocene metamorphism; complex Tertiary faulting of Paleozoic and Cretaceous sediments; and Tertiary intrusives.
Workings include surface and adit openings. Production was a total of about 75 tons of ore produced in 1914 and 1937.
