During the First World War, the construction of a road leading to the gold mines was planned. The project included a tunnel, located above the Schleier falls, on the northwestern side of the Naßfeld valley. It was abandoned after the completion of only about 100 m, though. Along this distance, some very large clefts and a north-south striking, iron-bearing vein were cut.
The coordinates mark the Schleier falls.
