A manganese group of claims located about 15 miles S.15ºW. from Aguila, NW end of the Bighorn Mountains, about 15 miles S.15ºW. from Aguila, at about 2,100 feet of altitude.
Country rock is dominantly red biotite andesite, but a short distance South of the workings hornblende schist, gneiss and granite are exposed. The deposit is a brecciated zone about 10 feet wide which strikes North and dips steeply West. This zone is about 800 feet long but it does not lie in a continuous course, for a segment of the vein 200 feet long is displaced 70 feet to the east by two east-west faults. Most of the ore is a breccia.
Workings include several shafts, the deepest of which is 50 feet deep. There are numerous open cuts.
