A locality near South Mountain, Midvale, which is South of Vesuvius. An iron mine started in the 1890s that produced only about 20,000 tons of limonite ore. Workings feature a pit 600 feet long, 50 feet wide and 20 feet deep, in brecciated ferruginous sandstone.
