Deposit: Chimneys of high-grade silver-lead ore at fissure intersections, shear zone the tripoli mine consists of 2 patented claims, and was developed by a 100' adit with a winze at the end extending down 212 with 4 levels of drifts; a second winze was sunk 75' below the 212' level & another winze 100' extended below the bottom of the 75' winze. Total workings include 2, 400' with a vertical range of 387'. The winzes were sunk on a fissure zone that is nearly vertical chimneys of hi grade silver-lead ore occurred at or near intersections of fissures; the tripoli minerals an early discovery, with the a. J. Ralston & co operating it and the webfoot properties successfully. The ore was smelted at the company owned smelter at bullion city, in the 1870's.
