Structure: Granodiorite Stock With Assoc. Faults
Alteration: Oxidation, Silicification
Deposit: The mine is on the northern part of the silver king vein, which is said to extend 4 mi. Southwestward and ranges from 5-20 inches in width. Deposit discovered in (1885 by mr. Turo merc are two main openings situated about 1.500 ft. Apart. The north opening consists of an 80-foot shaft. The vein here is about 5 feet wideand dips 70 se. The south opening consists of a 100-foot shaft. The vein here isabout 15 feet wide and stands vertically or dips steeply to the nw. Assays obtained from the substantial portions of the vein are As follows: 40% mn; 2% cu; 20%pb; 4 oz/ton ag; and a trace of Au and zn.(schrader, 1935, p39-40) bottom of the80-foot shaft carries about 4% cu (schrader, 1912, p145) ; info.src : 1 pub lit quartz veins
