The title of this entry, as written, actually refers to the Village of Warwick, a population center incorporated within the Town of Warwick. The Village of Warwick is on Paleozoic sedimentary rocks, is not a mineral locality and should not be confused with the Town of Warwick.

The Town of Warwick covers approximately 104 sq. miles and includes most of the northern end of the main Franklin marble outcrop area. The Village of Warwick is a significant distance east of the marble belt.

Most of the minerals listed for "Warwick" are from the Franklin marble and should be given more specific locality names such as "Amity", "Edenville", Mount Adam, Mount Eve, etc. The best known of the sublocalities are Amity and Edenville. These two very small settlements are about 3 km apart. In addition to the Franklin marble there is a group of small iron ore deposits, some of them uranium bearing, southeast of the Village.
