A feldspar and silica mine located in sec. 26, T22N, R17W, about 5 air miles North of Kingman, at the base of the eastern flank of the Cerbat Mountains.

Mineralization is a sill-like pegmatite in medium-grained gray granite. The pegmatite has a well-defined internal structure: The border zone is 1 to 2 feet thick, fine grained quartz and feldspar; the wall zone is 10 to 20 feet thick, medium-grained (1 to 3 inches), quartz and feldspar. The local Precambrian schistosity is N30ºE. Veins, fissures and dikes NW to NNW regionally.

Workings include 5 quarry operations (#1 cut: 250 feet long by 200 feet wide by 60 to 90 feet deep at the face; #2 cut is 450 feet long by 300 feet wide and 20 to 40 feet deep). Started in 1923 and originally owned by Mr. G.I. Taylor (1923-1924), then operated by the Consolidated Feldspar Corp. (1924-1927). Produced more than 100,000 tons of crude and ground feldspar.
