The b-site adit, also known as the Atkinson tunnel is the site at the Blue Bell mine with the largest underground workings. Interestingly the tunnel stays around 90°F year round, nice and warm during winter, and a good place to escape the scorching heat in the summer. The b site is also the lowest of the sites on the mountain, and like the 2a site, has a steep road leading up to it.
