A former medium-sized surface and underground Cu-Ag-Zn-Pb-Au-W-Mo mine located in the SW¼ sec. 36, T16S, R13E & the NW¼ sec. 1, T17S, R13E, W of the Pima Mine at the foot of Mineral Hill; 6 mile N of Twin Buttes. Owned at times, or in part, by the Banner Mining Co.; and the Pima Mining Co. Subhumed by the Mission Mine.

Mineralization is partly oxidized, roughly banded and zoned, manto, pyrometasomatic ore body of magnetite and sulfides in garnetized Paleozoic limestone along the contact with Laramide quartz monzonite. Minor molybdenite and tungsten are present. The Mineral Hill fault is an important controlling local structure.

Both the oxide and the sulfide ore bodies were found by geophysical methods. The ore bodies are 1,005.84 meters long, 243.84 meters wide, 10.67 meters to the top of the ore with a depth to bottom of 121.92 meters.

Workings include shaft and open pit operations to a depth of 121.92 meters. Some 522,000 tons of ore were produced from underground workings during the period 1954-1962. This ore averaged about 3% Cu, 0.5 oz. Ag/T and some Zn and Pb. From 1962-1963, the Pima Mining Co. produced from its open pit some 3,200,000 tons averaging about 0.8% Cu, 0.1 oz. Ag/T and some Zn & Pb.
