A former small surface and underground Au-Ag-Cu-W mine located in the NE ¼ sec. 11, T.15S., R.4W., 21 miles SE of Ajo. Owned at times, or in part, by the Bullion Bar Mining & Development Co.; and the Gunsight Detroit Mining & Milling Co.
Mineralization is spotty, oxidized copper minerals, enriched in gold near the surface, in quartz stringers along a fissure zone in decomposed Laramide granitic rock at the edge of a Tertiary basaltic andesite cover. Some spotty scheelite.
Workings include shaft and pit operations to 32.31 meters deep. Prospected in the late 1880's but worked and produced a few tens of tons of gold ore in 1917-1918.
