A former small underground Au-Ag mine located in central sec. 17, T.16S., R.4E. (protracted), 10 miles W of Comobabi. Produced 1937. Owned by M. Hedderman.
Mineralization is oxidized, lensing quartz vein with weak sulfides along fractures cutting Cretaceous (?) andesite volcanics.
Workings are shallow. A small tonnage of ore averaging 0.7 oz. Au/T, 3 oz. Ag/T were produced in 1937.
