Deposit: Fluorspar occurs in narrow discontinuous veins up to 1 m thick in fault zones that trend east. One of the shafts disclosed 2 to 3 ft of siliceous fluorspar in a vein that strikes n70 W and dips 80sw. About 400 ft NE of the shaft an 8 ft wide breccia zone contains coarse-grained fluorite in veinlets from 4 to 24 in across. The zone, exposed in a second shaft, strikes n75e and dips 60nw. Fluorite was deposited As open-space filling or As replacement of granodiorite host rock. Vein contains As much As 30-40% caf2. Five unpatented claims in the 1940's.
