A former small surface and underground Pb-Ag-Cu mine group located in South-central sec. 17, T.22S., R.17E, E of North Saddle Mountain, on National Forest land. Produced 1916-1948. Owned at times, or in part, by Sheehy; Bergman; Chapman; and, Cofa & Daniel.

Mineralization is small, irregular lenses and pockets of oxidized argentiferous lead minerals, with some copper, along a fracture zone in Laramide volcanics cut by a granite porphyry dike.

Workings include shaft and open cut operations. Sporadic production occurred from 1916 through 1948 of some 70 tons of ore averaging about 24% Pb, 7 oz. Ag/T, and 2.5% Cu.
