A former small Au placer deposit/mine located in secs. 1, 2 & 11, T23S., R.14E, on private land. in Guebabi Canyon, a branch of the Santa Cruz River 6 to 10 miles N and NE of Nogales, northeastern part of the Nogales District.
Mineralization is gold-bearing Quaternary gravels.
Considerable production to 1909.
