Bikkulovo deposit


Manganese deposit hosted by volcanosedimentary rocks of the Magnitogorsk paleovolcanic belt.

The deposit, discovered in 1917, is located 40 km west of the town of Magnitogorsk and 3.5 km northwest of the settlement of Bikkulovo in the South Urals.

Several different ore types:
- rhodochrosite–caryopilite–tephroite
- pumpellyite–piedmontite–andradite–caryopilite
- hematite–calcite–andradite–caryopilite
- quartz–rhodonite–andradite
- parsettensite–hematite–quartz–andradite
