Vein No. 1, one of the largest and most important pegmatite bodies of the Serpovidnyi Ridge, is a REE-bearing amazonite pegmatite embedded in gneisses of the Lebyazhya suite. It is located on the southern slope of the central sector of the Serpovidnyi Ridge, on the left bank of an unnamed creek.

A series of diggings and a large trench exposed this pegmatite, where amazonite was collected as an ornamental stone before the discovery of the giant dyke at Ploskaya Mountain. This pegmatite is particularly known for pink genthelvite and large gadolinite-(Y) crystals, up to 10 cm in length.
