Shown on the 1887 Ordnance Survey Map (see under photos) but un-named. A small overgrown adit entrance and tip can be seen almost at the crest of the hill. Further down is a reasonably extensive tip along with a flooded adit at the head of a large open cast drift. A track (public footpath) crosses the site and on the hillside below this is a ruined building possibly dating to the mine period and a further small tip.
