A former small underground Pb-V-Ag-Au-Cu-Mn-Mo occurrence/mine located on 24 claims in the group (one claim was patented in 1952, the remainder are unpatented), in the SE ¼ sec. 36, T20S, R21E, about 8 miles (ca. 13 km) SW of Tombstone, near the intersection, on state land. Produced 1929-1953. Owned by the Gallagher Vanadium & Rare Metals Corp. Operated by Mr. G. Neil Vogel (1952).

Mineralization is very spotty, generally weak, largely oxidized, lead and copper mineralization with some vanadinite in a silicified and altered shear zone in Tertiary Bronco volcanics. Ore exists on all fracture lanes of fractures and veins in a rhyolite dike. Dike and veins strike NE-SW and dip SE. The veins vary from a few inches to 10 feet (ca. 3 m) and average 4 feet (1.22 m) with zones up to 100 feet (ca. 30 m) wide. The ore zone is 1,371.6 meters long, 3.05 meters wide, and 30.48 meters thick.

Workings include shafts to a depth of 73.15 meters. The Bradshaw shaft is 240 feet (ca. 73 m) deep; the Stella shaft is 120 feet (ca. 37 m) deep, an inclined shaft is 5 feet (1.52 m) by 9 feet (2.74 m); and other shafts are 30 feet (ca. 9 m) to 75 feet (ca. 23 m) deep; plus numerous open cuts. Some 670 tons of ore were produced, mainly since 1952.
