The Comolli quarry was located 3 1/2 miles southwest of Milford village, at the east foot of Badger Hill, S. 10° W. of Burns Hill. Opened in 1905 by Comolli Brothers & Co.
Granite was a quartz monzonite of light, inclining to medium, bluish gray
color, and of very fine, even- grained texture, with feldspars and mica up to 0.1 inch.
