An active quarry in granodiorite with pegmatite inclusions. Hornblende-rich stringers carry epidote and titanite. The rocks are cut by a system of EW-trending clefts, which include quartz, calcite, hematite and copper sulfides, whereas NS-trending quartz veins contain silver, bismuth, tungsten and molybdenum ores.
Located on the north slope of Kohlplatte hill, about 700 m SSE of Sonderbach.
