Rittersgrün is a village of the municipality of Breitenbrunn in the Erzgebirge district of Saxony.
The political municipality of Rittersgrün only came into being in 1856 through the merger of the municipalities of Oberrittersgrün, Unterrittersgrün and Rothenhammer.
