A former V-U occurrence/mine located in sec. 1, T29S, R24E and sec. 33, T28S, R25E, SLM, 1.5 miles E of the crossroads in the town of La Sal, on Bureau of Land Management administered land (located claim). Owned by Union Carbide. Operated by the Atlas Minerals Corporation, Utah (1974). MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a replacement deposit hosted in rock of the Morrison Formation, Salt Wash Member (Late Jurassic sandstone). The ore body is tabular, strikes N70E and dips 02S at a thickness of 1.5 meters and a depth-to-top of 152 meters. The primary mode of origin was other. Primary ore control was lithology. Controls for ore emplacement included paleochannels. Local rocks include Cretaceous (1) sedimentary rocks in southeastern Utah.

Workings include underground openings with a depth of 137 meters.
