Described by Ryan as a number of lodes, dipping west 65 degrees or steeper, in interbedded siltstone, sandstone, greywacke, quartzite, with volcanic rocks at the northern end, and acid volcanic rocks at the southern end. The Lady Hamilton Shaft reaches a depth of 107 feet, on a small reef 16-19 inches wide, containing two small wolfram rich patches. Ryan goes into much detail regarding the reef structure.
Ryan states there is an unusual feature, where there are two distinct reefs, which join the Hanging Wall of a fault. They remain as distinct reefs, sharing a common wall, which apparently is not seen elsewhere on the field.
Sixty feet west of Lady Hamilton Shaft is the Activities Lode, containing a tunnel 89 feet long. The lode dips west 60-70 degrees, and is 5-10 inches wide. Wolfram enrichment is found where the reef meets faults. The No. 1 Lode contains one quartz reef, dipping west 75-85 degrees, containing a tunnel 180 feet long, partially stoped above and below. To the south-west of the Lady Hamilton Shaft is a quartz reef that zig-zags, enriched with wolfram where it meets faults. There are several other nearby short lodes, with localised wolfram enrichment.
The exact location of the mine based on Ryans descriptions is uncertain, and the Mindat map is the same as that for the Kangaroo mine, which Ryan at one point states is the same lease. The Kangaroo mine location itself is very approximate.
