Some of the most alkaline rock types of the teschenite association are exposed near the Čerťák water reservoir. Late 19th century authors described these rocks as nepheline syenites or natrolite teschenites. A body of igneous rock forms a large, steeply inclined sill. Its thickness exceeds 30 m and it has a dip of approximately 50-70°; it is traceable over a distance of more than 1.3 km. It forms a morphological crest extending northeast of the water reservoir and is relatively poorly exposed in a series of shallow quarries from the late 19th century.
