Gold-quartz vein deposit (gold-tourmaline type).
The ore field is located in the upper reaches of the Malinovka River and occupies an area of 30 km2.

The deposit comprises several ore zones (Mednaya, Mayachnaya, Kontaktovaya, and others), prospected using a few trenches. The best studied of these zones is the Meridional’naya zone.
Since 2009, the Malinovka deposit has been explored in the most promising Meridional’naya zone by OOO Malinovskaya Gold Company.
