An occurrence located 4.5 km (2.8 miles) SE of Pinecliff (town), on a large gravel bar along the Naches River, about river mile 32.3, along state route 410, approximately 26 kilometers (16.0 miles) NW of Naches, Washington. Elk Ridge is a private campground. Visitors must stop at the office before proceeding. There may be a fee for collecting. Collecting is done on a large gravel bar of the Naches River. The bar contains a variety of material brought down from the Cascade Mountains.
There are a variety of bars located along the Naches River that do not require private access. The material should be similar.
