Description: Members of the Aikinite-Bismuthinite series include Aikinite, Bismuthinite, Emilite, Friedrichite, Gladite, Krupkaite, Paarite, Pekoite and Salzburgite. These are very dificult to sort out requiring EMPA and SCXRD, no species label is correct without this analysis. The EDS of this specimen shows it to contain copper and so it is toward the aikinite end of the series. This specimen contains no silver so it is not in the gustavite-lillianite series.
