The source names this as Paraburdoo, but is 39 kilometres west of the town, which is more known for large iron ore mines.
Explored by Universal Milling Pty Ltd in 1972.
Barite in shale of the Mount McGrath Formation, or possibly Duck Creek dolomite. Three barite areas, adjacent to and north of prominent breccia containing mainly limestone. Described as elongated zones of barite rubble in a fault zone below shale to the north, and dolomite to the south. The largest area extends a length of 300 metres, 7.5 to 30 metres wide. The second is 210 metres long, and third far smaller.
