This mine was the first lease pegged on the Kooline field for lead. Discovered around 1947. It is on the crest of an east trending ridge, between the Gift and Ridge mines. The south dipping veins, 25-75 cms wide, contain a considerable amount of barite, as well as quartz, galena, cerussite. The mine produced 90 tonnes of lead, and 24,260 g silver.
