Located 5.6 kilometres south of the Ashburton Downs homestead. (Source gives co-ordinates placing the site north of the homestead).
Conglomerate and shale of the Ashburton Formation hosting an irregular shear with high grade lead mineralisation. Also found is quartz stockwork veinlets, with copper mineralisation up to one metre from the veinlets in the Footwall side.
The site contains several small pits along strike for 21 metres according to the source. Explored UAL 1981-1982.
