The Kupferbühl mine startet working in 1953 for Fluorite. After a short time the name was changed into Issigau mine. This mine finished working in 1967, together with Neu Beschert Glück mine some kilometers far away, both mines belonged to the same company.
After this time the Fluorite mining ends in Lichtenberg, it has taken from 1936 to 1967. The other mines in the Lichtenberg area were closed earlier (Kemlas-mine, Lichtenberg/Rückersberg-mine, Hohes Rad-mine).
