Lasbeck is a district ("Stadtteil") of Iserlohn in Sauerland and is located south of Genna on the border with Nachrodt-Wiblingwerde.
Before the incorporation into the city of Iserlohn that took effect on January 1, 1975, the village belonged to the previously independent city of Letmathe and had 1895 inhabitants at the end of 2021 together with Genna. The name "Lasbeck" (around 1500: "Lassebecke") means "salmon stream" according to Friedrich Leopold Woeste.
Greywacke is mined in the Lasbeck quarry. In the past, there were baryte veins that were up to half a meter thick.
Lasbeck is on the Lenne and is connected to the national road network via the B 236.
