What is known as the Beryl Group, is a minor set of pegmatites at the southern end of the Mount Cassiterite pegmatites. The Wodgina tantalite pegmatite is one kilometre north.
The Beryl Group pegmatites are hosted in a mafic volcanic unit. The pegmatites are up to 140 metres long, and 15 metres wide. They consist of a simple zonation, containing pale green beryl in discrete pods on the outer margin of quartz core structures, enclosed by a muscovite-albite-spessartine matrix.
Ore minerals consist of fine to coarse grained manganocolumbite with very fine microlite in one pegmatite.
The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate.
