An historic gold mine.
Late 1890's mine on the Lady Jean Reef. It contained a shaft to 120 feet deep. The dump when inspected in 1906, showed the country rock to be crystallised amphibolite and actinolite. A long line of quartz porphyry dykes occurs on the western side of the main shaft. There were a further two shafts on the same reef, each 50 feet deep, on the reef 3 to 4 feet wide.
