Ni prospect. Discovered by Anaconda and CRA. Explored by Unimin 1972-1974. The ultramafic formation is 500 metres thick of picritic flows of amphibolite-chlorite-serpentine rock, with minor talc and tremolite, and patchy bladed serpentinized olivine. Mineralisation is in the basal section, in embayments of the Footwall amphibolite. Low grade disseminated sulphides containing pyrrhotite, pentlandite, chalcopyrite and cubanite.
