Fall, 20 August 1988; 1025 g
A single stone fell and was recovered later that day by a farmer. The highly unequilibrated olivine (Fa 1-30) is characteristic of type 3 unequilibrated chondrites. Bulk iron content (~29%) is at the high end for L (low iron) ordinary chondrites. Very little has appeared in easily accessible web venues although fragments of over 100 g have been held at several museums.
While 51 stones are classified as L3.7 chondrites at the Meteoritical Bulletin Database, only 2 — Ceniceros and Mezö-Madaras, an 1852 fall — are witnessed falls (as of Sept 2015).
